Access to Justice and Legal Needs Program
The Foundation established its Access to Justice and Legal Needs (A2JLN) research program to identify the particular legal needs of disadvantaged people in NSW through a series of projects. So far we have produced reports which include examinations of the legal needs of older people, homeless people, and people with a mental illness as well as a major quantitative survey of legal need in six disadvantaged local government areas of NSW.
We are involved in research partnerships with various Australian universities on several research partner projects where part funding is provided by the Australian Research Council (ARC).
