Foundation research reports on access to justice []

The Foundation has been conducting research under the Access to Justice and Legal Needs Program since 1998. This research program is identifying the legal needs, pathways and barriers for disadvantaged groups in NSW.

Just Search will do a full text search of these research reports. Your search results link directly to the relevant sections of each report and the associated footnotes. There is a table of contents for the whole report on the left hand side of the screen and you can navigate to any part of the report from here. You can also view, print or search a chapter of the report or the whole report.

Related literature []

These are abstracts of references cited in Foundation reports and recent access to justice research reported in the Justice Access Research Alert (JARA), our bimonthly e-newsletter of recent access to justice research. The majority of the research is Australian based but some international literature is included. The majority of the research is from 2000 onwards but some earlier research is included. Links to the full text of the material are included wherever possible. This material is not available from the Foundation.

Plain language law resources []

These are abstracts of plain language guides to the law and community legal education programs reported in Plain Language Law, our bimonthly e-newsletter. Most resources are NSW based. The majority are from NSW and from 2001 onwards. Links to the full text of the material are included wherever possible. This material is not available from the Foundation.

Key NSW access to justice organisations []

Please note that this is not a directory of legal assistance services. Only peak organisations in NSW which are active in access to justice for disadvantaged groups are included.
