The following organisations provide assistance to people with legal problems.

LawAccessNSW
Call 1300 888 529 for a NSW wide telephone information, referral and advice service. Available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Community Legal Centres
Community legal centres (CLCs) are independent organisations that provide legal advice and advocacy for a range of individuals and groups in the community. Select CLC Directory from the left hand menu for contact details for centres in each state.

Legal Aid NSW
Legal Aid provides a range of services to people who need advice, assistance and representation, and who qualify for legal aid.

NSW Solicitors [Law Society of NSW]
This directory provides a search facility for legal practices within NSW.

Legal Information Access Centre
Public libraries have a range of plain language guides to the law and staff who can assist you find relevant information.
